At present, there are more than 400 major plastic machinery manufacturing enterprises in China, most of which are distributed in the southeast coast, the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. Among them: injection molding machine manufacturing enterprises are mainly concentrated in Zhejiang, Guangdong, followed by Jiangsu, Shanghai, Guangxi and other places; extruder manufacturing enterprises are mainly distributed in Shandong, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Gansu, Henan, Beijing and other places; hollow molding machine manufacturing enterprises Mainly concentrated in Shaanxi, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Guangxi and other places; Tibet, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Ningxia, Hainan, Chongqing and other provinces and cities have not yet had plastic machinery manufacturing enterprises. The major economic indicators of the plastics machinery industry are among the top 149 in the country's machinery industry. At present, the plastic machinery that can be produced in China can basically meet the general technical equipment needed for the processing and molding of polymer synthetic materials. Generally speaking, it is equivalent to Hong Kong and Taiwan in China, and some of them have approached or reached the level of industrial developed countries, and some of them are leading the world.

In recent years, China's plastic machinery has become one of the fastest growing industries in the traditional machinery manufacturing industry, with an annual demand of 8.5 billion yuan. Experts predict that in the next 15 years, China's plastic machinery industry will continue to grow at a high speed.

Historical statistics show that the growth in production of plastic products has led to an increase in sales of plastic machinery. For example, from 1991 to 1999, the output of plastic products increased by 26.61% annually, while the sales of plastic machinery increased by 17.38%. The long-term plan of China's plastics industry will reach 25 million tons of plastic products by 2005, and the total output is expected to double to 50 million tons in 2015. The good development prospects of the plastics processing industry will remain the main driving force for the rapid development of China's plastic machinery industry.
